Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the provision of website design and related services by Sub Zero Digital ("we", "us", "our") to clients ("you"). By commissioning work from us, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Sub Zero Digital provides website design, development, and related digital services as outlined in the agreed project brief. The scope of each project is confirmed in writing before work begins.

2. Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total agreed fee is required before work commences. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before final files are delivered or the website goes live.

For the optional Care Plan, payment is collected monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; no refunds are issued for partial months.

3. Revisions

All packages include two rounds of revisions as standard. A revision round consists of a consolidated set of feedback submitted in a single communication. Additional revision rounds beyond the two included are chargeable at an agreed hourly rate, confirmed in advance.

4. Content and materials

You are responsible for providing all written content, images, logos, and other materials required for your project. Sub Zero Digital will not begin design work until sufficient content has been received. Delays in providing content may affect your delivery timeline.

By supplying content, you confirm that you own or have the right to use it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. You indemnify Sub Zero Digital against any claims arising from content you provide.

5. Intellectual property

Upon receipt of final payment in full, ownership of the completed website code transfers to you. Until final payment is received, Sub Zero Digital retains all intellectual property rights in the work.

Sub Zero Digital reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Hosting and domain

Sub Zero Digital provides hosting as part of the service, subject to fair usage. Hosting is not permanently guaranteed and may be withdrawn with reasonable notice. You are encouraged to maintain your own copy of the website files and are free to move to self-hosted or third-party hosting at any time.

Domain registration is not included. You are responsible for registering and renewing your own domain name. Sub Zero Digital accepts no liability for downtime or data loss caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

7. Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith and are dependent on receiving content, feedback, and payment on schedule. Sub Zero Digital is not liable for delays caused by late content submission, extended feedback cycles, or other factors outside our control.

8. Care Plan

The optional Care Plan (£25/month) covers up to two content updates per month and priority email support. Updates must be requested by email and are processed within 48 working hours. The Care Plan does not cover new page builds, redesigns, or structural changes. Sub Zero Digital reserves the right to adjust Care Plan pricing with 30 days' written notice.

9. Cancellation

If you cancel a project after work has commenced, the 50% deposit is forfeited. If cancellation occurs after more than 50% of the work has been completed, the full project fee may be invoiced for work completed to date.

10. Limitation of liability

Sub Zero Digital's total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant project. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-business damages.

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the project. This obligation survives termination of the agreement.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
